Discuss how you feel about being an online student. Do you like the anonymity, flexibility, and self-directed style of the courses? Do you have ideas on ways to create a closer class community?
I like being an online student it has a lot of perk, such as staying home being on the computer, you don't have to waste gas, getting a babysitter, or buying new clothes for school. Now somethings are great and wouldn't change. Others could be worked on, but all around school is great. Now I have a problem with their books, because when you take a test some of the questions ask about things that are not even in the chapter you have read in the book. That sucks and I think they should check that out. I also think that they should consider in their discussion also if you give everyone the same topic look for your not going to have 50-75 words to reply back, because you will just be repeating what you said in your original post.
Hi Jennifer,
ReplyDeleteThe idea with classmate responses is to create feedback for them on their topic or post, so that they get a broad range of feedback from classmates.
I do notice that students seem to many times respond in a purely "generic" manner which adds nothing to the discussion.
Why would you repeat what you said in your original post when you are commenting on someone else's text?
